Jean-Claude Van Damme is kicking his way back on the big screen as the arch-nemesis in this weekend's The Expendables 2, the all-star sequel to the 2010 blockbuster featuring returning stars, , , , , and Van Damme's Universal Soldier co-star Dolph Lundgren.
In the late 1980s and early 1990s, JCVD earned his reputation as the "Muscles from Brussels" with Bloodsport, Cyborg, Kickboxer, Hard Target, Nowhere to Run, and Timecop.
However, back in 1994, he flexed more than his muscles while shooting Street Fighter, when the actor recently admitted an on-set affair with one of his female co-stars, Australian singer and actress.
Surprisngly, Van Damme was newly married to model/actress Darcy LaPier at the time. The couple had a son, Nicolas, in 1995, but the marriage ended in divorce two years later.
The Expendables 2 is currently locking and loading in theatres.
