To Love is To Nurture
by Prof. Liwayway Memije-Cruz
"Faith...
Hope...
Love...
The greatest of these is LOVE".
Without love, life is empty and void of meaning. Love includes God's love for you, your love for God, your love for others, love in family.
Loving is a feeling that gives meaning and colors to one's life. But to love is not just simply saying " i love you". It entails a lot of giving and sharing, commitment, sacrifices, respect, patience, forgiving, understanding, accepting, appreciating... "loving with all your heart and soul". And everyone accepts that "to love and being loved is the sweetest thing one can ever have in his life".
But to love regardless of its dimension, intensity and perspective needs time and sharing of feelings and emotions.
Showing your love to your parents needs time and effort. Simply holding their hands, a kiss and doing simple things without asking you to do them would mean a lot to them, even erasing a little if not all the burden in their hearts just to be able to give you what you need. More so if you have your own lives, leaving the two of them at their own.
Loving somebody... your parents, siblings, friends and a special one needs to be nurtured for you to be able to get the most of the pleasures, joys and happiness it gives. Loving gestures, words of endearment, simple notes and presents on one's special day, a sincere hug, a simple hello, and a sweet smile can bring magic into one's heart. Thus giving both of you a loving and thankful heart in return... making your lives at peace, sweeter, lighter and easier despite the trials and obstacles that would come along your way. And this is how God teaches us how to love...
And as what Sasha Azevedo said “ Life is too short not to make the best and the most of everything that comes your way everyday.” Loving someone as if it is your last day to show it is better than you never had done it for him.

Love had always been the secret ingredient for everything. I believe that war would end if we choose to love, problems would end if we would choose to love, conflicts would stop and end if we would only choose to love. Can we just imagine the world if we would only choose to love inspite of everything. I know That whatever comes our way, knowing to love is the key.

Everybody talks about love, as if everyone knows what it means. You may not find it growing at that tree nor at the end of that rainbow, there's nothing there.
Actually,we have three category to define love.
1st,by moral definitions. We have here the EROS,PHILA,& AGAPE.
2nd,by scientifical definitions. We have here the ATTRACTION,LUST, & ATTACHMENT.
Lastly,by the bible (Icorinthians13:4). it seems here that love is perfect!
Love is the easiest thing to feel but the hardest to explain. it is the plainnest thing but the very special to feel. Some believe it others dont, but no matter what they think its about i know u've been inlove before o let me ask you just one question.
"HOw dO yOu dEfinE LovE?"
A simple, short four-letter word but really hard to define.
Love is really full of mysteries, for you are able to do things that you're not doing before, but you did because of it.
It is really undefinable.

Our first love is God, He sacrificed His life for the sake of others. Second, our family, they always there for us no matter what happens. Third, our friends and other people surround us, they make our lives colorful in a different way. Lastly, we must love ourselves first, before loving others to understand what is love all about.

(1 John 4:18 ESV). Share Love and you will be loved, share hatred and you will be hate. But Christ loved both His friends and enemies, and so we must be also.

People will never exist without love cause God is love. We are created to love and to be loved. Love is a powerful force. Because of love we learned to forgive and to give.
Always love one another :)
Its a command from God.

Love could be shown in different ways. People have different perception when it comes to love. Others may show it while others not. Some shows it through their actions, others through their words. But the most special for me is a word followed with an action.

From the dictionary it means to cherish, feel a passion, devotion and tenderness for. And for me, the word love gives inspiration and happiness in my life. It is help us to live our life to the fullest and be contented in what we have . Love cant be measure with sweet words and thoughts, it is all about showing our caress to our loved ones. And i believe "LOVE IS NOT JUST A WORD, IT IS AN ACTION AS WELL"
