Rocker Mustaine says Obama staged Colorado massacre

Conspiracy theories are swirling out there about the Colorado movie massacre, but one singer has taken it to the outrageous -- and on foreign soil, no less.

Lead singer for the popular heavy metal band Megadeth, rocker Dave Mustaine, told concert-goers during a performance in Singapore on Aug. 7, that President Obama was behind the horrific July 20 shootings in a cinema showing the latest Batman movie in Aurora, Colo.

This stunning accusation was followed by an equally shocking reason for this alleged madness of the president. He staged the brutal deaths of Americans during the filming of the latest batman movie "The Dark Knight Rises" because he wanted to pass gun control laws.

These are the rocker's exact words seen during a Thursday broadcast on CNN: "Back in my country, my president, he's trying to pass a gun ban so he's staging all of these murders, like the 'Fast and Furious' thing down at the border. Aurora, Colorado, all the people that were killed there and now the beautiful people at the Sikh temple."

He did not stop there, for he was on a roll. "I don't know where I'm gonna live if America keeps going the way it's going, because it looks like it's turning into Nazi Germany," Mustaine said, adding jokingly that he may have to move to Singapore.

I guess he is ignorant of the land he was performing in for Singapore is a country which emphasizes the collective welfare of the state over individual rights like free speech and practices government-funded healthcare--a stark contrast to Mustaine's conservative views and ideological persuasions.

I am still waiting to hear the Republican outrage on the right for this kind of dangerous propaganda spewed abroad, because the outpouring of heavy criticism was swift and sharp when the Country and Western band The Dixie Chicks spoke out negatively about former president George W, Bush Jr. while doing a concert in the United Kingdom.

During Mustaine's venomous diatribe, fans were heard voicing their disapproval of the wild accusation, with some even shouting "We like Obama."

I know the 2012 presidential election is near and the rhetoric is on high blast, but this is straddling the extreme. It's public knowledge that Mustaine is not a fan of Obama, and this public foreign display of dislike sure seals it for him.
