Is a 30-day war between Iran and Israel imminent?

A startling disclosure has been made by Matan Vilnai, the defense insister of Israel who is going to China as the ambassador.

In his disclosure he has said that a strike by Israel on the nuclear facilities of Iran would precipitate a 30-day war in which around 500 people in Israel would lose their lives in retaliatory missile attacks of Iran.

This view on the number of casualties has been endorsed by Defense Minister Ehud Barak.

This has been reported in telegrah.co.uk of dated 17th of August 2012.

It seems the Israelis are convinced that a nuclear Iran is a major danger and, hence, are drawing up plans to launch a strike against its arch enemy Iran or are putting pressure on the US to take the lead.

Iran is continuously supporting anti-Israel militants with funds and weapons, and its leaders often call for Israel's destruction.

The Supreme leader of Iran Ali Khamenei has said that Israel will disappear from ‘the scene of geography.’
