Punjab govt was informed to intensify security: Interior Ministry

 Interior Ministry said on Thursday that Punjab government was informed two weeks before following the pre-dawn assault at Kamra air base that left eight militants and a security official dead. According to Media Reports, Interior Ministry had informed Punjab Government regarding such attacks during the holy month in between 27th and 28th Ramadan. Interior Ministry had directed PAF to take stringent security measures at all important places and bases to avoid any untoward incident in this regard.
