Chot Reyes as Head Coach of Smart Gilas2!

Chot Reyes is now the head coach of the Philippine Basketball's National Team also known as "Smart Gilas 2" and his first task is to win the 34th Jones Cup which will start on Aug 18-28 in Taipei, Taiwan and will be backed up by Marcus Douthit

For Chot Reyes, this is his chance to redeem himself after his last stint where his team ended at 9th place a few years back. Many people believe that there might be politics involved but for Reyes its all business

However, his coaching staff belived that this new lineup is more talented than Smart Gilas 1 so hopes are high that they will be able to bring home the crown.

Chot Reyes also added Garvo Lanete on their lineup for additional ball handling and Matt Rosser a 6-5 point guard as well from Cal Poly Pomona Broncos.
