Bridgette (Bri) and Bradley (Brad) Jordan of Centralia, Illinois, hold the Guinness World Records for being the smallest siblings in the world, according to media reports.
Bri Jordan is 27-inches-tall and Brad Jordan is slightly taller at 38-inches,who happen to be primordial dwarves – will debut in a new reality show at 10 p.m. Monday on The Learning Channel(TLC).
“Big Tiny: Life With the Jordans,” will see Jordan doing her weekly grocery store shopping, flexing her muscles as she tosses items into a standard-size grocery store cart. Bri enjoys baking cupcakes and chatting with her friends during the reality show episodes.
The siblings were born two years apart with a rare condition called Majewski osteodysplastic primordial dwarfism Type II which is a type of primordial dwarfism. Fewer than 200 people around the world have MOPDII.
Many wrongfully assume that those with dwarfism are intellectually impaired and treat them like children. “We want to show people that we’re not kids and that yeah, we’re small but we can still do things,” says Brad.
The series follows Brad, a cheerleader who has powerful gymnastic skills, and attends college. Bri, the self-proclaimed “boss of the family,” has to wear a tracheotomy, which she admits is frustrating at times – but she won’t let it stop her from baking, babysitting or hanging out with friends.
They live with their mom Christy Jordan and their average-sized sister Brandi, ABCNews.com reports.
While the Jordan siblings have their disability in common, they have separate career aspirations. The 23-year-old Bri hopes to become a fashion designer, while her brother dreams of the stage.
