British supermodels partake in London 2012 Olympics closing ceremony

The world watched the London 2012 Olympic Games hold their long-anticipated Closing Ceremony toning, August 12, 2012 in London, England, featuring some pretty amazing performances as well as a good selection of contemporary British supermodels…

Strutting their stuff as though on a fashion show runway – undoubtedly in designer creations – were British models Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss, David Gandy, Stella Tennant, Lily Cole, Karen Elson, Jourdon Dunn and Lily Donaldson.

Only a special appearance by the legendary Twiggy would’ve rounded things off nicely…

On Twitter, Vivienne Westwood’s page tweeted that singer Jessie J looked “incredible in Vivienne Westwood” and that model Lily Donaldson looked stunning wearing a Westwood Couture gold gown…

Tinie Tempah also performed in what looked like a Burberry Prorsum orange and gold jacket from the Burberry Prorsum Menswear Spring Summer 2013 collection on stage next to Jesse J in her beige and black leotard.

The Spice Girls united for the Closing Ceremony as well with fashion designer Victor Beckham, a.k.a. “Posh Spice” wearing a black number with a long train in the back and ultra short in the front. One of her own creations?
