Miami Dolphins WR Chad Johnson out of jail on a bond of $2,500

Davie Florida. Miami Dolphins wide receiver Chad Johnson 34, was released Sunday from a Florida prison on a bond of $2,500 on Sunday.

Johnson was charged with domestic violence after he gave his wife Evelyn Lozada a head butt during an argument.

Johnson's attorney Adam Swickle said his client was issued a no contact order which prevents Johnson from contacting his wife which is common in domestic violence cases.

Davie police arrested Johnson on Saturday after Johnson struck his wife in front of their Miami home. Davie police captain Dale Engle said the argument commenced when Evelyn confronted her husband about a receipt she found for a box of condoms.

I am sure when Johnson returns to practice with the Miami Dolphins he will get a ribbning from his teammates over the incident.
