An hour after filing a missing persons report about his wife; husband locates Anna Oung’s body from her car’s trunk, using a tracking device. The California woman was reported missing Tuesday night, by her unnamed husband, when according to him; she didn’t return home from her Orange County engineering job.
According to the details, Anna Oung, who went missing days before after she left her office, was found dead Tuesday night. The lifeless body of Long Beach, California woman was lying inside the trunk of her car, said police. Irvine Police Department’s Julia Engen said further that the victim’s car, a silver Honda Civic, was located parked near the University of California.
Julia further explained that it was Anna’s husband who called police after he was able to locate the vehicle, using a cell phone tracking device. She added further that when cops arrived, the car was apparently unoccupied and since the husband didn't have keys; the cops opened the trunk; to look for any evidence. According to Julia, the body was marked with visible yet unspecified injuries but also said it was not clear whether how the spot was related to the woman.
Although the authorities said the circumstances surrounding the death looked suspicious, they did not yet ruled the tragic death a homicide. Meanwhile, it was learned further that an autopsy was due to be performed Thursday.
