I love chocolate, it's delicious. Yes it's healthful and it's profitable, too. In addition, a good gift idea for your lovely girlfriend and your sis, if you have one. Now, Isn't it high time you found a way to play the new bull market in chocolate?

This is good health news - on Tuesday, Swiss confectioner Barry Callebaut AG won the backing of the European Food Safety Authority for its claim that cocoa flavanols, the compounds found in dark chocolate, are good for blood circulation. I believe the claim is true for there are lots of clinical studies being conducted recently on this stuff and also being published in the medical journals.

While the request to use the health claim still look out for approval from the European Commission, the food agency's permission indicates that chocolate makers are expecting to see a surge in business as they offer new health claims on product labels.

Not that the industry was hurting before...
