Shreveport Louisiana. Shreveport police have captured 22 year Timothy Mathew of Santa Fe New Mexico just after 3pm on Wednesday.
Sergeant Bill Goodin of the Shreveport police department said police officers believe Mathew walked into a Capital One Bank just after 2:30pm on Wednesday where he approached a bank teller and claimed he had a gun in his possession. The bank teller gave Mathew an undisclosed amount of money and then Mathew ran away from the bank on foot.
Goodin says just after the robbery happened a plainclothes officer saw a man that fit the description. When police officers surrounded Mathew he attempted to run away from them but he is arrested shortly but he was captured quickly by the police officers.
Mathew was booked on charges of simple robbery, resisting an officer, and attempted simple escape.
