Obama promised change, in fact he promised a series of changes. As years have gone by, very few of the election promises have materialized. The Midas touch backfired in the stimulus package, health care reform/tax, housing, manufacturing, green energy, jobs, America’s standing in the world, America’s exceptionalism and my personal trust. Regardless of what anyone says, Obama was elected by a majority of Americans – White, Black, Brown, Asian, Hispanics and others. Whites allowed their guilt to take priority, Blacks walked to the polling booths with unprecedented pride and the rest went with the hype.
Did President Obama forget that nobody forced him to run for the President’s office and that the decision was solely his? Was he not aware that the American economy was running down hill when he decided to run for office? Taking all present factors into account, how can Obama blame anyone or anything? Obama may have been elected on his oratorical skills but clearly that has not worked to get the country back on track. It is not enough for the country to have a President with just the likability factor; he must deliver or be gone.
Top seven reasons why I think President Obama should not be re-elected:
Nation is trillions in debt, the highest ever
Economy is messed up; prices are up by 25 per cent including gasoline
Millions are out of work
Signature Obamacare will add a hefty tax burden
Trying very hard to change the capitalist system to a Socialist one
Makes a mockery of American exceptionalism
Always apologizing to the rest of the world for American ways
Top seven reasons why Obama could be re-elected:
Got Osama Bin Laden
Succeeded in drone attacks on other friends/followers of OBL
Family man; defers well to his wife
Can play basketball
Plays the race card well and thus appeals to Liberals.
