Celtic booked their place in Friday morning's draw for the Champions League play-offs when they beat HJK Helsinki 2-0 in Finland on Wednesday for a 4-1 aggregate success.

Neil Lennon's side had the better of the first half but missed a couple of good chances and had to wait until midway through the second period for Joe Ledley to convert a Charlie Mulgrew cross.

Victor Wanyama saw red for two bookings but Georgios Samaras sealed an impressive away win with five minutes left to guarantee Celtic at least a place in the Europa League group stage.
