But to no avail, the news is not good, and it looks like more than one QB is coming into Foxboro to try and fill the massive void created when Patriot's starting QB Tom Brady went down with a left knee injury. Word is, he has torn his ACL and will not be able to play for the whole season.
Brady sustained the injury in the first quarter of Sunday's matchup with the Kansas City Chiefs. Having watched the game, and being a fan of the Pats, I can say it did not look like a cheap shot by Pollard, but was a clean tackle.
What next for New England? It'll be a struggle but I think they can pull together. The whole belief system of the Patriots is to go out there as a team, and do what they know best. With or without Brady, the Pats are still one team to challenge all opponenents. That's because they have a "no-rockstar" attitude and play together as a team.
