London, 08 Aug, 2012:
Prince William’s wife Catherine (the former Kate Middleton) has a glowing porcelain complexion that is the envy of millions of girls’ world over. It’s no surprise therefore that most of them would love to possess that kind of skin, provided they know the secret behind it.
Now, thanks to Vanity Fair (September, 2012 article) the secret to Kate Middleton's flawless complexion and its related beauty must-haves is out of the bag. All details pertaining to the same has been given there.
The 30-year-old Duchess of Cambridge is famous as one of the best-looking women in the world. Being a royal she is always in the public eye, hence taking care of her looks is indeed a virtue.
In its latest article in September’s Vanity Fair, Duchess Kate shares her note-worthy beauty secret. Apparently before any official engagement, her must-do is a $250 bee-venom facial.
A revolutionary treatment carried out by Deborah Mitchell of London’s Hale Clinic and the Heaven salon in Shropsire (heavenskincare.com). Mitchell has in-fact been treating the Duchess of Cambridge with her signature $250 (£165) bee-sting facial since just before Wills and Kate’s royal wedding.
Speaking to Now Magazine Deborah Mitchell disclosed at the launch: ‘Heaven's new mask contains double the secret ingredient of the original mask, so I'm really excited about the launch. 'The Duchesses of Cambridge and Cornwall have been using it and I'm thrilled with the final result.'
Mitchell’s celebrity clients include Kylie and Dannii Minogue, Victoria Beckham and Gwyneth Paltrow. Her bee-sting venom treatment is a natural alternative to Botox. According to Daily Mail, it was mother-in-law Duchess Camilla who first recommended the beauty product to Duchess Kate soon after the latter’s engagement.
Reportedly Kate Middleton after trying the bee-sting facial got hooked on to it ever since. She even uses the Heaven Bee Venom Mask at home and is very happy at the results. Though this exotic treatment may be pricey, but then there are said to be only 500 jars being made at a time.
Other than this treatment in her regimen, Duchess Kate, 30 is a low-maintenance kind of person for a royal. Sources disclose that she sometimes does her own makeup and hair as she thinks having her own dresser is pointless. So down-to-earth is this Royal that she even visits the Peter Jones department and there at the store cosmetics counter she chats with shop assistants and checks out the latest beauty products.

I hope all the young girls out there don't think they have to spend $250 for a good complexion. Yes, the bee venom is probably a good treatment, but so is a lot of water every day and keeping one's skin clean. Of course, the biggest factor is heredity.
