Makati City 2

A lot of areas in Metro Manila are experiencing heavy rains and floods. Even Makati City suffered some flooding in key areas.

Because of continues rain, several areas in Makati were flooded. One of the most used roads in Makati, Pasong Tamo and Pasong Extension had knee high waters. The flooding started Monday evening, August 6, 2012 but soon receded in the early morning of August 7th. But as the rains continued, the water rose again. Several vehicles had to go through other routes in fear of their vehicles stalling in the middle of the road.

Flooding also occurred in Arnaiz Avenue near the Don Bosco Church. The creek near one of the entrances of San Lorenzo villages over flowed causing flooding in the intersection. Though still passable, some vehicles no longer took the risk.

Above you can see exclusive photos of the flooding along Pasong Tamo and Arnaiz as of August 7, 2012.
