So I am watching the news this morning and see this 3 year old obnoxious brat throwing a temper tantrum as either Mom or Mom’s girlfriend threaten to feed him soap. Then, big surprise, the 3 year old lashed back with the “f-word.”

Well now I check the remote to make sure I’m still watching the news and not Jerry Springer. Nope, CBS Moring News. Then the news flashes to the child’s father and reports the two are unmarried and that he is having a child with another woman to whom he is also unmarried, and that he is disapproving of his son’s living conditions. So now, we see him on his way to file for “full or half custody.” Apparently he has no custody currently.

But I still can’t figure out why this is so news worthy when the Olympics are in full swing and there is a threat of nuclear war from Iran. Not to mention the Syrian revolution, the drought in the Mid West, the oil refinery fire in the east or half Oklahoma burning. This trailer park trio and Geraldo Rivera audition gone bad, has somehow made its way into the mainstream news.

When they go to a commercial I switch over to ABC. I’ll get some real information. Nope, there they are again, but now the news tells me these are Palins. You know, that woman who tried to take this circus to the White House, but instead took it on the road after effectively trashing John McCain's career with her incoherent babble as she tried to understand what the [George] Bush Doctrine was in a live interview. The woman who walked out of her job midterm to make more money selling anything she could from guns to motor homes. You remember her, she can see Russia from her house.

I couldn’t help but wonder if people in other countries think these people represent any part of America outside of Jerry Springerville. Who watches this garbage? How does a hard working family struggling in these times justify watching a high school graduate calling herself a “spokesperson” for abstinence, collecting $262,000 from the “Candie’s Foundation” for unplanned teen pregnancy, who, after collecting her money, has the arrogance to then go on Dr. Drew's show and announce it’s all crap, that she doesn’t believe in or practice abstinence.

Can’t these production companies find real people with real morals and values to represent the USA to the rest of the world? Those families are easy to find.
