Salt Lake City Utah. Utah Jazz president Randy Rigby announced on Tuesday the Jazz have hired Dennis Lindsey as the new general manager of the team.
Lindsey spent the last five years as vice president and assistant general manager of the San Antonio Spurs.
Lindsey replaces former general manager Kevin O'Connor who will remain with the Utah Jazz as Executive Vice President of Basketball Operations.
While Lindsey was with the San Antonio Spurs the record of the basketball team was 271 wins and 123 losses. The Jazz management team hope Lindsey will be successful in getting the Jazz a National Basketball Association World Championship title.
Kevin O' Connor said "Dennis is a proven talent evaluator whose experince will be a real asset to the Jazz organization. He is a high character individual who will be respected around the league and I look forward to working with him on a daly basis."
