Oil City man who kidnapped his former girlfirend faces additional charges

Oil City Louisiana. 41 year old Eddie Jackson of Oil City Louisiana who was convicted last week of kidnapping his former girlfriend and setting her car on fire additional charges.

The Caddo Parish district attorney's office said Jackson will appear in a Caddo District Court on Wednesday on a charge of carnal knowledge of a juvenile. Details of the crime were not available. Sources close to the case said the crime involves a 16 year old female.

Jackson was convicted of kidnapping and simple arson of his former girlfriend Tracy Winslow. Prosecutors said Jackson kidnapped Winslow after she decided to leave him after a 15 year relationship.

Winslow has not been heard or seen since January 23, 2011. Winslow's boyfriend testified during Jackson's trial he overheard a telephone conversation between Jackson and Winslow which became an argument and a possible fight before Jackson hung up the telephone.

Authorities a little while later found Winslow's car on fire.

Jackson will face Louisiana District Judge Ramona Emanuel eight days from today for arriagnment on the new charge and be sentenced for teh other charges against him. Jackson could spend up to 45 in prison for kidnapping and arson.
