Badr battle On 17th of Ramadan ( 1 )

On 17th of Ramadan
It was the most important conquest in Islam
. It was the first confrontation between Muhammad with his followers and the Idolaters . If the Muslims had been beaten , Islam wouldn't have spread all over the world .

The number of the (Muslims were 305 soldiers . 14 from the immigrants those who immigrated from their mother land Mecca to "Madina." And the rest from El Ansar " The supporters - the people who used to live in " Madina and supported The messenger " . Seventy camels and two horses.

The horse of El Mekdad Ebn EI Asswad called Basma "and the horse of El Zobeir Ebn El Awam. nicknamed " El Yassob" .

The messenger said : " I ask your consultation oh people " . " Saad Ebn Maaz, the leader of El Ansar said . " As if you are asking us to be with you messenger of Allah ?
- Yes. said the messenger.
- We believed in you and witnessed what you brought was right. We gave yon our word of honour and Oaths on obedience and loyalty . Go forward to what you intended to do . we are with you . He who sent you with the right if you sailed us in the sea we would sail with you. no man behind ,we don't hate to meet our enemies even tomorrow . We are patients in war ,truthful in confronting the enemies . May God let you see us what you pleased with, go ahead , upon the blessing of Allah !!
The messenger's face was brilliant with happiness . Then he said ,
- Go forward and I predict good for you . God Almighty promised me either of the two parties and I swear by God as if now I was looking at the Assassinations of the people " .
The Caravan of the Idolaters were thousand camels including great fortunes of the merchants of Quriesh about fifty thousand dinars in gold .
Quriesh was trading with Syria and with Yemen . The Caravan was going to Syria under the leadership of Abu Sofian .
The Muslims wanted to capture the caravan of Quriesh going to Syria to destroy the power of it . Since the Muslims and Quriesh were in a state of war.
