Recalling recent events around the dramatic demise of Eva Rausing, London police are today reporting the discovery of a body believed to be that of another wealthy British woman, Carol Waugh.
Waugh, a finacial administrator with British oilfield services company SML’s Libya operation, has been missing since April.
The oil executive - who's wealth perhaps pales in comparison to Rausing's - came to the public’s attention a few days ago when police searching for her released information indicating that she may have been leading a double life, working as a prostitute.
The police made that information public after fears for her safety were heightened when a man tried to sell her London home by posing as her brother.
The mystery around Waugh's disappearance is also compounded by suggestions that she fled her SML Libya post abruptly after receiving threats from someone close to the regime of former leader Muammar Gaddafi.
