Schools Division Superintendent Jessie Ferrer and Olongapo City DepEd official family converge today, August 03, 2012 at the Olongapo City National High School for the monthly Management Committee Meeting (MANCOM). DepEd, Olongapo City official family includes Assistant Division Schools Superintendent, Education Supervisors of the subject areas, District Supervisors, principals of both elementary and secondary schools.
Superintendent Ferrer leads the whole official family in planting fruit and forest tree sewedlings at OCNHS grounds. This is a lightning activity spearheaded by MAPEH Department with the cooperation of the Department of Technology and Livelihood Education through Agriculture Section Teacher Adolfo G. Tababan. Also, on the spot are TLE AA-IA Head Dr. Romeo G. Espiritu, Jr. , Coordinator Dr. Roderick A. Tadeo, teachers and students.
Tree planting is a flagship activity of Superintendent Ferrer wherever and whenever a MANCOM Meeting is held monthly. Olongapo City National High School headed by Dr. Helen B. Aggabao, the city’s premier secondary school is the host venue of the meeting for the current month.
The fruit and forest tree seedlings Superintendent Ferrer and DepEd Official family planted today at OCNHS premises are more than money value investments for the environment for the present and future school constituency.
The trees planted today will be tomorrow’s healing of today’s very sick environment. It is very interesting that the superintendent’s visit to the said school is marked with real fruit and forest trees. Sir, thank you very much.
The tree planting activity lasted for at least an hour after which the superintendent convened and presided over the MANCOM.
