Philippine boxing superstar and congressman Manny Pacquiao

Mark Barriga thrilled the crowds on Tuesday, during his fight against Italy's Manuel Cappai, 17-7. It was the quickest knockout of the Games so far that brings hope for the gold on Team Philippines.

Barriga trained with the Philippines pride Manny Pacquiao, who won world titles in eight division.

His next foe is Birzhan Zhakypov of Kazakhstan, who defeated Jeremy Beccu of France.

Coach Roel Velasco will tell Mark to focus on body since his next foe is taller than him, standing 5-foot-6.

Velasco thinks that Kazakhstan fighter will do “jab, straight, hook, jab, straight, hook” against Barriga. Winner of the match will advanced to quarterfinals.
