Karl Lagerfeld mocks Pippa’s FACE while calling Kate Middleton 'a romantic beauty'

Karl Lagerfeld better watch out for a backlash from Pippa Middleton’s countless admirers that she has garnered world over, ever since her smashing ‘rear’ debut at the Wills and Kate royal wedding last year.

The 78-year-old designer with a penchant for courting controversy has put his foot in his mouth once again by sniping that he just cannot stand Kate Middleton’s younger sister’s FACE. The ugly lanky fashion mogul’s remark looks more like a case of the pot calling the kettle black.

Just last February, the creative director for Chanel had raised a stink when he tagged Adele the Grammy nominated singer as being 'too fat'. Of course, he was quick to back-track then, with an apology issued to Adele. Earlier, Karl Lagerfeld even had the cheek to call the gorgeous model Heidi Klum fat.

Now he is back to his old ways, continuing his tirade of insults. This time the butt (pun unintended) of his jibes is none other than the 28-year old brunette, Pippa Middleton. The creative director for Chanel concedes he is a huge admirer of Prince William and his wife Duchess Kate, but he is emphatic that he is less than impressed by her younger sister.

Extolling the beauty of Duchess Catherine, Karl told the British paper The Sun: "Kate Middleton has a nice silhouette and she is the right girl for that boy (William). I like that kind of woman, I like romantic beauties.” Then taking a swipe at Pippa, Karl adds: "On the other hand, her sister struggles. I don't like the sister's face. She should only show her back."

Karl is not only a big fan of Duchess Kate, he is also a great admirer of Victoria Beckham, the svelte 34-year-old fashion designer wife of British football star David Beckham, who despite being a mother of four children Brooklyn, 13, Romeo, 10, Cruz, seven, and Harper, 1 year, has still managed to have a stunningly slim frame.

About Victoria, the opinionated Karl says: "She is great. I like her a lot. I have known her for many years… She had a career as a singer. She has a beautiful husband and stunning children and now she makes a career in fashion ….And that body, after four children. There are not so many who have a body like that. She is very disciplined,” he adds.

With regard to Karl’s opinion on Pippa’s face, standby for some kind of a public apology from the designer for shooting his mouth off once again.
