Mervin Hervias Marcos has taken his call for justice for the death of his younger brother Marc Andrei Marcos due to hazing related injuries to the social networking site Facebook.
Marc Andrei Marcos died due to multiple injuries at the De La Salle University Medical Center (DLSUMC) in Dasmarias, Cavite, Philippines last July 30, 2012.
In his Facebook page he showed pictures of Marcelo Cornelio, Ed Lara and Christopher Ryan Maranan who are all law students of San Beda College of Law and members of the Lex Leonom Fraternitas.
"Please help us locate these people. They are involved with the incident that brought the death of my younger brother. Please pass on. For any information for these people's whereabouts please email firstname.lastname@example.org JUSTICE FOR DREI MARCOS!"
On the same page Mervin went on to state that two of the fratmen approached their family but suppressed facts regarding the real condition and the whereabouts of Andrei.
"Cornelio is 2nd year and not a neo. Lara and Maranan are the one's who met up with my family to "negotiate" for drei's location when we were looking for him but did not give us the location of the hospital my brother was admitted to, that restrained us to be there for him until he died. If only we were there sooner, there's a pretty big chance that he might still be alive. And BTW, to involve is to oblige or to take part. Its not necessary that they did something horrible, but no cooperation makes it pretty bad."
News of Marcos' death first spread like wildfire on Twitter which was later on confirmed by students of San Beda.
He was brought by two women Soledad Sanda and Marlen Guadayo and a certain Gian Angelo Veluz, 27, a 4th year student of San Beda College Alabang to the hospital. All three are no longer to be found by authorities as of press time.
The two women are are cooks of the Veluz family at their farm located in Dasmariñas, Cavite.
Only last February of this year another San Bedan Law Student also died from sustaining multiple injuries from hazing during initiation rites of the Lambda Rho Beta fraternity at Antipolo City.
Marvin Reglos was then rushed to the Unciano Medical Center Alleged fraternity members Erick Edrosolano Castillo, 28, and Bodjie Amorin Yap, 24, were arrested for the death of Reglos but the case is still ongoing.
