Calling the Ct DCF Hotline what happens with the calls

There are so many calls made to the Department of Children and Families everyday, these calls are made by mandated reporters, jealous people,vindictive people, neighbors and people that have no idea what a call can do to a family. Now everyone should know that anonymous calls are NEVER enough to have a case opened against your family. Knowing your rights is the best way to protect your family, if DCF comes to your door and want to see the children then bring them outside the home so they can see that there is nothing wrong with the children. Do not let them in your home, if you have already allowed them into your home then record the conversations and you are allowed to do so.

When people decide to call the DCF hotline they should really consider the consequences an innocent family may face due to FALSE allegations. What happened to treat others as you would like to be treated? That no longer exists, people have turned so angry and damaging towards others. As people should really consider what they are doing before they do it.

Issues with the Connecticut Department of Children and Families is on the rise, they continue to target families that they consider to be “toxic” and by that I mean families that are less fortunate, by attacking families such as this is unfair because love is not based off of money. The love and care that parents provide for their child/children should not be discriminated against. They do so because these families tend to be unable to get a private attorney so they are left with a court appointed attorney. I am not saying that all court appointed attorneys are bad, they are just simply overloaded and have limited time to spend on ones case.Stop and thing before you call the DCF hotline, as that call may ruin a family. The DCF hotline is dangerous and far to many people use it as a weapon or threat. As the DCF hotline should only be used for SERIOUS issues, as there are SOME people who are abusing their children. If people would stop using DCF and their hotline to cause harm to others, ask yourself would you want it to happen to you? Would you want a false call made to the Connecticut department of Children and families hotline? Think before you act.

If you want to help, please contact us, if we continue to allow them to destroy our families they will. The calls made to the DCF hotline are erroneous and must be stopped, as well as the injustice.
