(Check It Out! Pictures!)makes history after winning his first gold medal in the men's 4x200mn relay and silver in the 200 butterfly at 2012 London Olympics.
The 27-year-old ‘The Baltimore Bullet’ breaks the record made by former Soviet gymnast, who won 18 medals, nine of them gold, at Melbourne in 1956, Rome in 1960 and Tokyo in 1964.
Phelps has now a record of 19 medals composed of 15 golds, 2 silvers and 2 bronzes.
In spite of not minting gold this 2012 Olympic, Michael Phelps is still the greatest Olympian of all time.
