Empty seats at the olympics

Finally, after three days of half empty stands and pleads from thousands of frustrated fans, the unused Olympic tickets will be made available for resale.

The London 2012 organisers have announced that unused tickets will be sold on the official website on the evening before the next days event.

Stories are surfacing of problems with the transaction process on the website, but hopefully this will mean an end to half empty stands and the best seats in the house going to waste.

The ticketing process has been dogged by stories of unfair ticket allocation and unhappy fans since the first tickets were put on sale earlier in the year. And the sight of half empty stands has been the final straw for many UK fans.

Have you tried to buy these resale tickets? If so, how did it go?
