In a statement by the defence ministry it has been said that the MoU will be signed in Rwalpindi today.
Lt Gen retd Asif Yaseen will sign the document form the Pakistan side.
According to Dunya News the draft of the MoU has been prepared in the light of the UN Charter, according to which the supply of ammunition will not be permitted, however, the supply of weapons for the Afghan National Army will be allowed.
Food, medicines, and items of daily use can be transported in 20 to 40 feet containers.
Two routes will be used for the supply; one from Port Qasim to Afghanistan through Chaman border and the other from Port Qasim to Afghanistan through Thourkham Pass.
