And he built there an altar, and called the place Elbethel: because there God appeared unto him, when he fled from the face of his brother.

-- Gen. 35:7 (KJV)

Jacob builds another altar in Bethel and changes the name of the place to Elbethel. Elbethel means the God of the house of God. It's important to remember that God must be the house of God that you worship at.

For example, God is not over the house of God that did not allow the Black couple to marry in their church in Mississippi because God does not condone racism. If God was racist, then everyone would have the same pigmentation.

Numerical Analysis: The numerical pattern for this verse is 8,7,6,3,5. (8) To have a new beginning in God, be willing to sacrifice to Him. (7) To be complete, make sure that you go to a place of worship that has truly submitted to God. (6) Expose evil so that God will visit you. (3) Stay in the Spirit or remain in retreat mode. (5) Stay in God's presence or remain in retreat mode.
