But every Thursday night the lad, a self described "Trisexual", is transformed into vivacious and coquettish hostess "Begum (Lady) Nawazish Ali."
An endless stream of national politicians, businessmen, and celebrities are regaled with innuendo, flirtation, and twist of meaning. All in good fun, it seems because the guests, rather than feeling embarrassed or humiliated, keep coming back for more.
What remains a mystery is how this show has become so mainstream in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
