Alexander Green, our chief investment strategist had just recently returned from a two-week tour of the Baltics. Of the seven countries he visited, the most appealing was Russia - and not just because of the magnificence of the Peterhof Palace or the beauty of the Hermitage, Russia's equivalent to the Louvre.
Green attested that Russia is one of the world's cheapest and most attractive emerging markets. It's a shame not a single investor in a hundred in the West has a penny invested there. Perchance if they saw the big picture...
