Every London Olympic athletes believe that they're destined to do great things, so as the 2012 USA Olympic athletes which are waiting their names to shine.

We've seen Saturday's Day 1 action on some USA athletes at the 2012 Summer Olympics in winning moments, huge upsets, shocking results as Americans back home glued their eyes on NBC Olympic coverage with mostly combing the web for Olympic results.

The biggest news of the day came from USA Archers taking silver for first American medal in late afternoon to break the course after around 20 medals where already awarded to athletes in various countries lead by China.

Two Americans shooters Jamie-Lynn Gray and Sarah Scherer finishing fifth and seventh respectively in Olympic rifle shooting when China's Yi Siling won the first Olympic Gold in the women's 10-meter air rifle.

Olympics huge and shocking upsets for Team USA came when the greatest American Olympian swimmer of all time, Michael Phelps finished fourth and missed a medal in men's 400m individual medley. But the good news was fellow American Ryan Lochte bails him out by winning the first gold for Americans.

So here's the following hottest USA athletes that are destined to shine in 2012 London Olympics.

1. Alex Morgan, Age 23, Height 5'8" - USA Women's Soccer - Forward

Alex Morgan launches into stardom as USA Soccer sensation due to her clever plays in the 2011 World Cup last summer. In the USA Olympic opener against France last Thursday, Morgan scored two crucial goals in 4-2 comeback win for the Americans Morgan's good positioning in the field will always yield iether a solid pass or a goal. In the game against Colombia second round match, Morgan ables to latch onto a free ball in Colombia’s defensive third dishing to Rapinoe on the left as the later ables to slide it into the net to help USA Soccer team enter into the quarterfinals. USA Women's Soccer team will play against Korea on Monday, and expect Alex Morgan to upped her game.

2. Ryan Lochte, Age 27, Height 6'2" - USA Men's Swimming

Many believed that London Olympics is Ryan Lochte moment and that paid-off by winning Gold in the 400 Individual Medley. Lochte produced the fastest time in his career at 4:05.18 - which credits to his four years of hardwork in preparation for this competition.

The world watches the storylines of a possible passing of the torch to Lochte, from fellow teammate Michael Phelps who grabbed the record of 8-Golds in 2008 Beijing Olympics. With one Gold in the bag, Lochte will still competes the Olympic Swimming at the Aquatics Centre in Men's 200m Freestyle, Men's 200m Backstroke, Men's 200m Individual Medley, Men's 4x200m Freestyle Relay.

3. Missy Franklin, Age 17, Height 6'1"- USA Women's Swimming

Missy Franklin is dubbed as new face of USA Women's swimming having set the 200m backstroke world record of 2:00.03 from the 2011 Berlin World Cup stop. Franklin is part of the team USA which finished Bronze yesterday in London Olympics. Missy moves with ease in the Aquatic Centre with a legitimate shot to medal in each swimming events on Women's 100m Freestyle, Women's 200m Freestyle, Women's 100m Backstroke, Women's 200m Backstroke, Women's 4x100m Medley Relay.

In 2008 at just 13 she was the second-youngest athlete to earn a spot at the US Olympic Team Trials. Called by friends as Missy "the Missile", she achieved already one of her ambition that is to win a medal in London 2012 Olympic Games and probably more to come.

4. Destinee Hooker, Age 24, Height 6'3" - USA Women's Volleyball

The tall and sassy first-time Olympian Destinee Hooker who carried much of the offense in Team USA first Olympic match win against the pesky Korean team. Hooker provided a team-high 21 points with 19 kills on 42 attacks and two blocks as the United States women's volleyball team wins in a thrilling match opener against South Korea in 3 sets to 1 victory in Group B bracket.

With height and reach her favorite position is outside hitter who can blast with power from the second line too. As a member of the number 1 world ranked team USA Women's volleyball, expect Destinee Hooker to step up the plate ready for some challenge in the London Olympics. Nicknamed Avi, her hobbies include reading, dancing, modelling, shopping and being with family and friends.

5. Lebron James, Carmelo Anthony, Kevin Durant - USA Men's Basketball

The King has finally a ring. Lebron James age 27, is the most celebrated athlete in Team USA, and having just won the 2012 NBA Finals MVP and Championship ring help shoots the ceiling in terms of his popularity in London. James is one of the four members from the 2008 Olympics who won Gold in Beijing. The 2012 Team USA has been compared to the original 1992 Dream Team, but they have only one goal and that is to bring home the Gold.

Aside from Lebron James, two more hot USA athletes with Carmelo Anthony and Kevin Durant that will make major impact on the team going into their first Olympic matchup against France. James exploded with 30 points in exhibition game against Brazil, Kevin Durant step up the plate against Great Britain while Carmelo Anthony leads the team in tune up game against Spain.

As famous embattled late Joe Paterno saying goes, 'When a team outgrows individual performance and learns team confidence, excellence becomes a reality.'
