Denise Ginley came across an unusual sight on the banks of the East River in New York. It appeared to be the bloated carcass of an animal – but doubts arose as to whether it was a dog, a pig or a huge rat.
She took a photo on her mobile and, in order to solve the mystery of the ‘monster’, she returned with a powerful camera to capture images of the creature from various angles.
This has been reported in telegraph.co.uk of dated 26th of July 2012.
The New York Parks Department believes it to be the carcass of a bloated pig.
But - it appeared to have toes rather than hooves.
The problem had been referred online and comments suggested it could be an aardvark, a raccoon or something related to a possum.
However, fingers of suspicion point to the Center for Animal Diseases of the government.
It seems the center carries out experiments on animals and this ‘monster’ could be one of their experiments which went terribly wrong.
Probably some scientist wanted to create a Frankenstein – who knows!!
