In recent days, news of Chick-Fil-A's owner, Dan Cathy’s stance on same-sex marriage has swarmed the media. Accompanying it is the Boy Scouts of America stance on its members remaining heterosexual. The subject of homosexuality and same-sex marriage is no longer just a moral battle but also a political battle. In the twenty-first century America we have the mentality that "anything goes." But are we willing to pay the consequences for this mentality?

News story after news story about this issue is being posted on the internet and each one have received mixed opinions on them. Most people argue that Chick-Fil-A and the BSA need to respect people's personal decisions and ignore them as long as they do not affect others. On the other side of that argument, which appears to be the minority, is that if someone does not like what a business or organization stands for they should simply not participate or do business with them.

People are constantly bashing the BSA and Chick-Fil-A and calling them stupid for not stepping down from their established morals. It is a company or organizations right to stipulate or regulate morals and requirements for his or her organization. If you don't like it, don't do business with them. And don't criticize them for standing up for what they believe in. The homosexuals do the same thing! They stand up for their feelings.

As far as those who want to comment on how Dan Cathy, owner of Chick-Fil-A, is a Christian and publicly acknowledges the perversion of homosexuality and same-sex marriage, please do not point out that Jesus never mentioned whether or not he supported homosexuality. The bible, the book form of GOD's word, mentions multiple times the wrong in homosexuality. But note that just because God doesn't condone the behavior of those people doesn't mean he doesn't love and care for them as much as any other person.

If gays and lesbians have the right to stand up for their so-called "rights," then real Christians can stand against them. It is morally wrong and perverted to partake in homosexual activities or same-sex marriage. Same-sex marriage should not be legal anywhere. People are being hypocritical. Bashing organizations for their decision to support or not support as cause is their decision. They are standing up for their Christian beliefs. Gay people do the same thing!

Chick-Fil-A and the BSA should be proud that they have moral values and have not fallen into the secular "anything goes" mentality.
