Philadelphia Pennsylvania. A newspaper report from the Philadelphia Inquirer says Portland Trailblazers assistant general manager and presennt ESPN basketball analyst Tom Penn will be hired as the new general manager of the Philadelphia 76ers.

Penn worked with Kevin Pritchard with the Portland Trailblazers as the salary cap and deal specialist.

If he is hired by the 76ers Penn would be working as general manager and player talent evaluation specialist. Penn would be able to have an inner circle of talent evaluators he can trust.
