Sex Lies and the Assange Case

This 45 minute video is a detailed look at events leading up to the warrant issued for Assange's arrest to be questioned on sex charges related to his earlier visit to Sweden. There is a written transcript of the video here.

The video is produced by Four Corners one of Australia's premier current affairs program. The video is a real eye opener. It shows how anxious authorities are to get Assange and Wikileaks.

The video goes into great detail about the two women who were involved in the allegations of rape and sexual molestation. Actually Assange had been questioned before he left Sweden and no charges were laid. However, afterwards when he was already in the UK a red notice was issued for his arrest for questioning. There were still no charges.

Red notices are usually reserved for terrorists. There was not a red notice even for Gadaffi and there is none yet for Assad.

Assad is holed up in the Ecuadorean embassy in the UK. after losing appeals in the UK to prevent his extradition to Sweden. He feels that if he goes to Sweden he will not get a fair trial and that the Swedish questioning is just a step towards extradition to the U.S where a Grand Jury is trying to frame charges against him.

Assange has hired a well known Spanish lawyer Baltazar Garzon. Garzon will represent Assange in his continuing fight to prevent his extradition to Sweden. Garzon denounced the case against Assange as "arbitrary and baseless". For more see this article.

You're so right, anxious authorities are anxious to get Assange and Wikileaks. Pure manipulation and maybe even fabrication. That's what happens to those that dare to go against the establishment.
