Over 180 hardcore criminals have been arrested in Kampala City

Kampala Metropolitan Police has arrested over 180 hard core criminals in Kampala City. According to police, the arrested criminals may have been behind committing attrocities within the City. The police spokesperson, Ibin Senkumbi says that these hard core criminals were arrested in Nansana, of the surberbs of Kampala.

''Most hard core criminals we have arrested during the police operation come from Nansana and suspect they are behind the loss of vehicles.'' Said Ibin Senkumbi, Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson.

According to police, these criminals were found in possession of television sets, radios, car number plates among others in their store in Nansana.

Police also suspects that the discovery of car number plates implies that they have been stealing and dismantling vehicles in Kampala. Police still suspects that these criminals were behind the recent attrocities in Kampala.

The arrested hardcore criminals so far identified include Lubega , Asuman among others. They are being held at Kampala Central Police Station. Ibin says that after investigations, they will be produced to court for prosecution
