Syria has made no secret of its possession of chemical weapons and has said that it would not hesitate to use them against foreign powers that have designs of aggression.

Syria looks at rebels as foreign terrorists and said that it would use chemical weapons to quell the 17-months old rebellion.

Barack Obama has warned Syria against any such action.

In the meanwhile, battle in Aleppo, the commercial capital of Syria enters the 4th day.

A new alliance of rebels called the Brigade for Unification has emerged reportedly to liberate Aleppo, which is the largest city and has a population of nearly 3-million.

The government appears to have regained control of Damascus and is trying to hunt down the rebels but appears to have been isolated by the international community.

Recep Erdogan, the Prime Minister of Turkey predicted the end of the Assad regime very soon.
