The week on “The Glee Project” the seven remaining contenders must show Robert and TGP team their tenacity. The homework assignment for the week is “Survivor” by Destiny’s Child.

Joining Robert Ulrich in judging the homework assignment was Amber Riley – Mercedes on “Glee”. Demonstrating the meaning of tenacity, Amber had stress fractures in both of her feet.

The winner of the homework assignment and a one on one mentoring session with Amber was Ali. This was Ali’s second week in a row for Ali.

The video shoot for the week was “Eye of the Tiger” by Survivor. While there was no choreography this week, the contenders faced a real challenge when they had to complete the entire video shoot – an obstacle course in a high school gym – in ONE SHOT. If anyone messed up then the whole shoot would have to start over. Abraham twisted his ankle. Shanna got sick. The jump rope proved to be a big problem for all involved. Ali had trouble hitting the basket; and she finally asked if they could lift her chair so she could dunk the ball. After nearly three dozen takes the video was a wrap.

Ali, Blake, and Shanna were all on the callback list for next week, Lily, Abraham, Michael, and Aylin would have to see which one of them would escape another last chance performance.

Michael, Abraham, and Lily had to sing for a last chance performance; Aylin was safe for another week.
Lily had to sing “I’m the Greatest Star” from the musical “Funny Girl” made famous by Barbra Streisand.
Michael had to sing “Brick” by the Ben Folds Five.
Abraham had to sing “Man in the Mirror” by Michael Jackson.

After the performances, creator Ryan Murphy said that it was the first week that he felt all three singers could be on “Glee”; adding that it was the first time that happened.

Abraham came back on stage to apologize for his performance; but in the end he was the contender not called back. Lily and Michael survived multiple weeks on the bottom.

Next week the six remaining contenders – two guys and four girls - will take on romancicality.
