And God said unto Jacob, Arise, go up to Bethel, and dwell there: and make there an altar to God, that appeared unto thee when thou fleddest from the face of Esau thy brother.

-- Gen. 35:1 (KJV)

In this verse, God commands Jacob to get up, go to Bethel, and to build an altar to God. When God tells you to move, then you move immediately. Wherever God tells you to go, you go immediately.

In modern times, animal sacrifices are no longer needed. Therefore, we do not need to build altars. However, we must learn how to sacrifice ourselves to God. Giving your heart to God is a very easy process. The only key is to remember where he brought you from on a daily basis.

Numerical Analysis: The numerical pattern for this verse is 8,1,9,3,5. (8) To have a new beginning in God, listen to Him. (1) To stay in the anointing, rise up. (9) To overturn evil, choose to go higher in life. (3) Stay in the Spirit in order to have shelter. (5) To stay in God's presence, be willing to give your all to Him.
