In the investigation for the Colorado shooting, a second person of interest is being questioned, according to latest reports. Although details of the person have not been provided by the authorities, some news reports claim that he has links with the main suspect,, and may have been involved in the deadly shooting directly or indirectly. The second person, however, is not under arrest, according to the authorities.
According to a source, the second person of interest was involved in the investigation after threatening messages were sent to the police from his phone, demanding release of Holmes.
It should be noted that one of the witnesses of the shooting commented on the incident, also saying that it looked like an act planned and conducted by a team of people.
“As I was sitting down to get my seat, I noticed that a person came up to the front row, the front right, sat down, and as credits were going, it looked like he got a phone call. He went out toward the emergency exit doorway, which I thought was unusual to take a phone call,” one of the witnesses said, as reported on inquisitr.com.
According to neighbors of the second person of interest, the police are carrying out their investigation inside his home.
“I woke up this morning with cops still here trying to look inside his home. At 5:00 a.m. cops showed-up and asked me about (him),” the neighbor said.
The shooting incident has created an atmosphere of fear in the area. Authorities are connecting the evidences and clues found so far tell that the action was planned some time ago by the suspects. The shooting resulted in the death of twelve people in the theater and 58 were injured.
