Mitt Romney: Obama's Priority Isn't Creating Jobs, It's About Keeping His Own

Sahit Muja: Romney has a significant lead over Obama in new poll

Americans seem focused on the economy, WSJ/NBC poll In the survey of registered voters, 43% said Mr. Romney would provide better ideas on how to improve the economy compared with 36% who said President Barack Obama would do so.

Mitt Romney scores a significant advantage over President Obama when it comes to managing the economy, reducing the federal budget deficit and creating jobs, a national USA TODAY/Gallup Poll finds.

By more than 2-1, 63%-29%, those surveyed say Romney's background in business, including his tenure at the private equity firm Bain Capital, would cause him to make good decisions, not bad ones, in dealing with the nation's economic problems over the next four years. The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Tuesday shows Mitt Romney attracting 45% of the vote, while President Obama earns support from 44%. Six percent (6%) prefer some other candidate, and five percent (5%) are undecided

In a business, you have to prioritize. In an economy you have to prioritize. In a business you have to establish and communicate goals clearly and meet those goals. Same in heading up US economy.
In a businesses, you have to meet a budget. In an economy, you should meet a budget and eventually have no choice. In a business if you spend more than you make, you go out of business. Same for an economy.
In a business you remove obstacles to productivity. In and economy you should remove obstacles to productivity. In a business you usually hire qualified people with experience. In an economy you should to the same.

Instead of the relentless attacking Romney , President Obama should be telling the American people how He plan to attack the problems we are all facing and offering solutions instead of negative ads.

President cannot run away from his record or blame Bush anymore. The current U.S debt is nearing $16 trillion, and our annual budget deficit of $1.2 trillion. We have 45 million people on food stamps and 15 million unemployed.

Mitt Romney's strength derives from his solid experience in understanding free enterprise and having the vision to help businesses succeed and therefore create jobs.

Romney's economic formula is exactly what can stabilize businesses and help them feel confident to invest and create jobs.

Mitt Romney will rebuild the foundations of the American economy on the principles of free enterprise, hard work, and innovation.

Romney seeks to reduce taxes, spending, regulation, and government programs. It seeks to increase trade, energy production, human capital, and labor flexibility. It relinquishes power to the states instead of claiming to have the solution to every problem.

Romney has a plan to get America back to work.

Tough to figure. About 30% of the voters are republinos and would vote for hitler if he were running as a republino, not if he were running as a Democrat. About 10% of the voters are racists so the polls should have President Obama ahead about 60-40. Too many people are looking for a repeat of the w & cheney years.

I second this. For any person that is a wage earner, that does not have Romney's, Bush's, Cheney's, Halliburton's million/billions, for any persons stuggling to put food on the table, keep or find a job, why would you vote to repeat the W/Cheney years? Why??? Those guys clearly supported themselves ONLY and the billionaires that paid their ticket to the White House. Why would you vote for a party that clearly states their ONLY goal is to get rid of Obama when the goal ought to be to get this country back on track? Why would you vote for a party that has refused to work together with fellow reperesentatives for the best outcome for this country? Why?

Hitler and racism, racism and Hitler. Can you try something new. The democrat party has been promoting racism for 180 years, since the days of Andrew Jackson and the trail of tears.

Keevin,

Please layoff that Hitler bit, it's juvenile.

Don't forget, the Democrats supported slavery and kept blacks out of their party long after the Republicans had let them in.

Why does this seem like a surprise to people. Obama has had 4 years and now he wants to raise taxes. Everybody knows raising taxes in a bad economy is a horrendous idea. Romney has experience Obama has none. Obama continues to blame others instead of talking about ideas to fix things. Blame won't change anything, it will, and is making things worse. Obama's negative ads are not true, even the democrats admit this. Everybody feels that it is time for a change. Obama turned out to be a old school Chicago politician which is clearly what the country does not need.

I don't think Romney can escape his past. His history with Bain as a vulture capitalist, his poor showing as Governor, his being born to a life of wealth and privilege, his long history of flip-flopping, and his shady tax returns will drag him down in the eyes of working class Americans.

4 Years ago it was about the economy and without knowing anything about Obama's shady past, the American voted for him.
Today it is still about the economy and this time around we have a candidate that actually knows how to run things and make them better. Mitt Romney is the clear choice.

Do you honestly think that a man like Romney running a company, Bain, that bought companies using borrowed money, got loans against the value of the company, paid themselves millions in dividends from the borrowed money, paid only cap gains taxes even though his own money was not risked, declared bankruptcy, defaulted on the loans from the bank, while sticking taxpayers with the pension benefits and unemployment payments to the laid off workers is good for the country?

If you do, then it's time to go back to elementary school and learn the difference between "good" and "bad".
