On Thursday before the London Olympics get underway (on Friday ),the victims & survivors of Bhopal Gas Tragedy have decided to organise BHOPAL SPECIAL OLYMPICS to oppose the sponsorship of the DOW CHEMICAL-the current owner of the UNION CARBIDE CORPORATION.Children born with disailities would be participating in the BHOPAL OLYMPICS as a mark of protest against The DOW CHEMICALS which is trying to cover its crimes against thousands of innocent humans through the sponsorship of the OLYMPIC GAMES.

The Bhopal Olympics will be held in the ARIF NAGAR STADIUM located right behind the UNION CARBIDE FACTORY which continues to release harmful material in the ground water causing birth defects in children even today.The theme of this event happens to be "FROM EAST INDIA COMPANY TO THE DOW CHEMICAL COMPANY" and the opening ceremony will be marked by songs & dances of the British people about which they will be ashamed of.

The opening ceremony will highlight about the many Famines caused during the British Rule in India,the mass hangings that took place after the First Battle of Independence in 1857 , the episode of The Jallianwala Bagh in 1919, etc.

Children affected by this toxic contamination will be participating in sports events like 25 metre sprint ,crab race ,assisted walking , etc which will tell the true story of the tragedy that had struck on the night of 2nd & 3rd December 1984
