
Taking time off from his busy and hectic campaigning schedule, the US President Barack Obama visited Colorado and interacted with the relatives of victims of the midnight shooting and the lucky survivors at the premier of the Batman movie – ‘Batman – the Dark Knight Rises’.

He visited the University of Colorado Hospital in Aurora and termed the carnage as an ‘evil act’ became emotional and tried to hold back his tears as he consoled those who escaped from the bullets of the Joker.
His conference was televised live across the USA.
Talking about the courage shown by a few of the persons under these situations, he said that such actions bring out the best in us and that brighter days would be there ahead.

But, what is the President of the United States suppose to do? He did the only thing a good man could do, he went in person to share his sorrow, he didn't send a sorry card.
This is not a criticism of the President individually, but of political gamesmanship which the office has become.
I will agree that there is a lot of gameship with every President, but this was refreshing - to say the least -
raw emotion - doesn't get much better then that - try displaying that in a sorry card!
