Anaheim California. Texas Rangers right handed pitcher Roy Oswalt will miss his scheduled start on Monday due tightness in his lower back. Oswalt will be visiting a doctor on Monday in Houston Texas. The Rangers do not plan to place him on the disabled list.
Right handed pitcher Scott Feldman will replace Oswalt as the pitcher when the Texas Rangers will host the visiting Boston Red Sox for a series of baseball games in Arlington Texas.
Oswalt won his last start on Tuesday. He has allowed two runs in the last 12 innings pitched.
Right handed pitcher Colby Lewis is questionable for his scheduled start on Tuesday in Arlington due to tightness in his right forearm. He did not throw in the bullpen on his assigned day due to his injury. Lewis was reinstated by the Rangers from the disabled list last Wednesday. Lewis will be re-evaulated by Dr. Keith Meiser on Monday.
