USA vs Argentina Video Highlights

Kobe Bryant bragging about the 2012 Team USA beating the 1992 Dream Team put on the discussion table once again as Team USA barely holds off Argentina in 86-80 victory on Olympic Basketball exhibition July 22 at Barcelona.

Kevin Durant has 27 points as the most consistent player on offense for Team USA drilling big shots after big shots. Kobe Bryant added 18 points and James had 15 for the Team USA in a rugged game just like against Brazil last week in Washington.

"I love it. You hate to breeze through exhibition games and then you get into London, and then you start getting competitive," U.S. forward LeBron James said as quoted via ESPN. "So we have a very good team. It doesn't matter about how many points you win by, you just want to play well and get better that night, and I feel like we got better tonight."

The U.S. Olympic men's basketball team was pushed up to the wall in last couple of minutes when their lead was down to four with 2:50 left after Manu Ginobili's three-point play. Highlights on the game is when Kevin Durant and Chris Paul bounces back by hitting big 3-pointers with few minutes left as the Americans won in a contested challenge from the Argentinians.

NBA player veteran Manu Ginobili scored 23 points as NBA players Carlos Delfino had 15, and Luis Scola 14 for Argentina. Team USA starts the game with aggressive offense leading as much as 20 early in the half, but Argentina got back into the game cutting it all the way to 45-40 to end the half.

USA vs Argentina rivalry continues to excite the London Olympics basketball as Argentina capitalized on Team USA foul trouble that allow Ginubili and the gang back into the game. Argentina won the 2004 Olympic gold medal by beating the U.S. in the semifinals.

Analysis and Reaction: Over all it's a good tune up game, Team USA cannot afford to be lacks and lose focus down the stretch especially on defense which resulted to yield too much fouls with NBA rules way differ from Olympics. To think that Argentina key players are almost in their 30's, basketball fanatics expect more from 2012 USA team other than a 6-point thriller, with their lineup mostly in their 20's. USA meets their No. 1 rival Spain on Tuesday in another Olympic game exhibition and they cannot afford to show the same mistakes.

The US team didn't look that good at all. If Ginobili wouldn't have been in foul trouble in the second half, then Argentina could have come back. The US should destroy Spain on Tuesday though. Serge Ibaka, shut up.
