"It's like wildfire!" says the bumper sticker expert. "Prior to McCain's vice presidential pick, Sarah Palin, sales of McCain bumper stickers were flat. Now with Sarah Palin on board, demand shifted into high gear. It's Sarahmania!"
The website owner of McCainPalinStickers.com (http://www.mccainpalinstickers.com) also echoes this claim. "We own several other McCain sites and had decent sales. However, when Sarah Palin came on board, everything went crazy. We went from about a few visitors a day to thousands of visitors a day," says the website owner.
So did Sarah Palin give John McCain a boost in popularity? According to bumper sticker sales, this may be the case. Only after November 4th will the proof be in the pudding.
