Katrina Darling: A haunting past for the Duchess Kate Middleton

LONDON (Sat, Jul 21) – Kate Middleton’s cousin and the controversial performer of ‘God Save the Queen’ has come up with another controversy after she got ready to strip for the U.S. adult magazine.

According to media reports; Katrina Darling was approached by ‘Playboy’ to pose naked on front cover and she will grace eight pages in the September issue, which will hit the markets on August 17 in UK and North America.

Although the 21-year-old Katrina Darling worked for Barclays bank managing wealth, she pursued a sideline as an exotic dancer.

The fulwell resident Darling came to know her link to the Duchess Kate, undoubtedly one of the world’s most famous women, when a newspaper started digging into Middleton’s family tree when she got engaged with Prince Williams.

They discovered that Katrina’s grandma, Jane Darling, was sister to Kate’s great grandfather Thomas Harrison.

Even Hugh Hefner, the owner of Playboy, is thrilled about Katrina’s appearance in his top shelf magazine and confirmed the fact after lot of stories already made headlines in British newspapers.

He tweeted this week: “Katrina Darling, the second cousin of British royal Kate Middleton, is causing a sensation in the September issue of Playboy.”

Talking about her Royal links in the past, Katrina said: “I wasn’t into the whole ‘I am Kate Middleton’s cousin’ thing, but the media picked it up and just went with it. In a way it’s helped with PR, but I’ve worked extremely hard anyway.”
